Al Wahda adds Mallory to their roster, ex Beirut Club

Al Wahda Abu Dhabi (ULB) added to their roster 33-year old American power forward Lamar Mallory (201cm-96kg-1990, college: GSU) for season 2024-25. Mallory played last season at Beirut Club in Lebanese LBL league. In three games he recorded 7.3ppg, 4.3rpg, 1.3apg and 1.3bpg. He also played for Nuwaidrat (Premier League) in Bahrain league where in three games he averaged 7.0ppg, 4.0rpg and 1.0apg.
Mallory is quite experienced player. Mallory's career allowed him to visit five different continents. He tasted the life as pro basketball player in Europe, Asia, Latin America, Australia and of course North America. Mallory has played previously professionally in Australia (Bandits), Germany (Lich Basketball, Kangaroos and SparkassenStars), Luxembourg (Etzella and Arantia) and Uruguay (Union Atletica Montevideo).
The list of the past achievements is quite long as among others his team made it to the Luxembourg League Semifinals in 2022. He was voted to Eurobasket.com Luxembourg League All-Imports Team in 2022.
Mallory is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top summer league for players who want to play basketball overseas.
He graduated from Glenville State University in 2014 and it will be his eleventh (!!!) season as a professional player.
